Experts in biomechanics, orthopedics, and engineering explore how advanced biomechanics and 3D weight-bearing CT improve clinical decision making.
This Meet the Expert symposium brings together leading innovators in physiotherapy, orthopedics, and mechanical engineering to explore the frontier of personalized lower limb care.
The educational program opens with advancements in lower limb biomechanics to better explain injury mechanisms, followed by an in-depth look at how weight-bearing CT (WBCT) scanning captures true anatomical alignment under physiological load.
Attendees will then discover how these dynamic diagnostic insights are translated directly into the operating room using virtual surgical planning and custom 3D-printed implants.
Ultimately, the symposium demonstrates how integrating load-bearing diagnostics and additive technologies into clinical practice enhances surgical precision and improves long-term patient mobility.
