During his visit as an external jury member, Prof. Erik Sahai (Francis Crick Institute) will deliver a seminar highlighting the most recent advances from his research group.
As a recognized leader in the field, his talk will focus on how distinct CAF states regulate tumor behavior, including cancer cell invasion, collective migration, and therapeutic response. Drawing on cutting edge imaging, spatial analysis, and mechanistic perturbation studies, he will illustrate how CAF heterogeneity emerges and how signaling between fibroblasts and cancer cells shapes the tumor microenvironment.
