Check-in
In Residence Loop 5, you'll have to register via an online tool to collect your key through a self-check-in desk.
Make sure you have your mobile phone number in OASIS, in case the residence coach needs to send you a late check-in code.
Please make your appointment at least three working days prior to your preferred check-in date.
It will not be possible to check in without a confirmed check-in moment!

What you can expect
After you fill in the check-in link, you will receive an e-mail with all the necessary information for your check-in.
You will check in to the apartment yourself, but the Upliving coach will make an appointment with you to show you around in the building and all facilities it offers.
Upon your check-in, you will receive a detailed check-in form documenting the state of your room upon your arrival. Make sure to keep this document since it will be used for comparison with the state of your room upon check-out to determine any required repairs or additional cleaning. Any discrepancies between your check-in form and check-out form will result in repairs or additional cleaning. You can find an overview of these potential costs on our price list.
Upgrade Estate offers the option to use their Cleaning Services during (and at the end of) your stay, but note that this service is not included in the rental price. In case you would clean the living unit yourself before departure, please double-check with the residence coach what is expected; to avoid additional costs after your check-out.
During your stay
Upliving Loop5 provides fully furnished studio’s and apartments, a laundry room, a chill room and a beautiful communal garden.
In addition, sustainability is a key factor at Upliving: with heat pumps, solar panels, rainwater recovery, ventilation system D, etc.
There is also room for a vibrant community with your neighbours, for those who like to join the activities organized on site.
The shared facilities and communal spaces are the extra touch for comfort and connection.
Payment
All payments and invoices are organized through Ghent University. More information can be found on this webpage.
