How do we support students?
- We are students’ first point of contact for help and guidance regarding a range of administrative and wellbeing issues and offer advice and support.
- We guide incoming exchange students through their application procedures.
- We help students (exchange, bachelor or master degree students) who need to prove sufficient means of subsistence in the framework of their visa or residence permit application
- General info on your visa application is available at the visa application centre in your country of residence. Some situations are a little more complicated and you might need some extra guidance; we will be happy to guide you through specifics needed for your visa application and legal stay in Belgium.
- We arrange exemption of the APS certificate for Chinese students.
- We organize arrival activities at the start of each semester.
- When students need help from somebody else. We direct to the right Ghent University departments.
